(Optional: on the back of the pyramid, there is a ladder and some clues.)
To open the door with the dragon symbol, there's a button just to the left.
Make your way through the maze to the tomb(it's quickest just to follow the left wall from the start.)
Note the book and skull inside of the tomb, if only there was a way to open it further...
Note the paintings on the wall, especially the one with the grid and lines.
One (and only one) of the lines correspond to a path from the start of the maze.
(It's the longest one, which is light blue.)
Follow this path through the maze until you hit where the path ends.
There should be a light square on the wall that you can press.
The tomb should now be open; read the journal inside it.
About the 12 buttons:
From outside you can see a symbol on the outside of this door.
For each pillar near the start, there is a symbol that is different; a fractal form of one of the symbols from the back of the pyramid.
List all the colours on the pillar near the start, that has this symbol.
A journal gave a clue about life always going forward, but this is the path of immortality... so press them from right to left.
(Solution: RRYG (i.e. the 12th, 10th, 8th, and 7th buttons.)
Read the journal on the balcony.
Continue onto the next maze. (Making a map might be a good idea.)
Find the place that has 8 buttons (not the one with 6 buttons.)
Note the colours on the pillars near the start again...
Use the symbol from the wall near the buttons to find the correct pillar from the link-in point, just like the 12-button puzzle.
Enter them from right to left again.
(Solution: Black-red-black-red (i.e. the 6th, 5th, 3rd, and 2nd buttons.)
The door opens behind you, read the journal.
Find the way out of the maze to the room with the blue circles.
Note the painting on the wall.
On the outside of the pyramid, at the back, there is a ladder to a platform, that has a sequence of colours.
The painting is a map of which colour each blue circle corresponds to. Find a path through it using the sequence from outside the pyramid. (There is 1 or 2 circles whose colours are unknown; figure them out as you go along.)
Walk along this path to the other side, being very careful to walk perfectly straight lines from circle to circle.
Using the hints from the journal at the 8-button puzzle, look at the painting here...
Go outside, and to the place the picture was taken from, going to the very peak over the lava, and swing the camera around(in 3rd person) until you can see the 6-symbols.
