New page

{{Age|Lohdehvis|Lohdehvis.jpg|Mike Newman|filename=Lohdehvis|
Read the message on the wall, note the D'ni letters on the black plate, and the D'ni numbers on the brown paper by the button.
We will refer to these D'ni letters (from top to bottom) as N, E, and A. (As these are nearly their equivalents.)
The numbers are (from left to right) 3, 4, and 5.
First puzzle:
Click the button to move the black plate and expose a hint.
The hint shows E4N5N4 with a dot, a dash, two dots, a dash, and three dots.
Hint: You need to use this to enter a code into the 3x3 panel.
Hint: Imagine the letters as giving the row, and the numbers as giving the column.
Hint: the dots and dashes tell you which button to press first, second, then third.
Solution: . 3 2
. 1 .
. . .
The wall will lift up revealing more to the hallway.
Second puzzle:
There is a 4x3 grid of buttons, and some shapes on the opposite wall.
Hint: Try to recreate the shapes on the black plates by using the symbols above the buttons.
Hint: The first row corresponds to the first shape, etc. (As is indicated by the solid-solid-solid-empty squares.)
Hint: You may need to recreate the black spots rather than the white spots.
As you get a row correct, that plate will slide up to reveal a symbol.
Solution: . . 1 2
. 3 . 4
5 . . 6
You should now see all 4 plates slid up to reveal a clue!
Third puzzle:
The symbols revealed are A3 A4 E5 and a green cube.
Use the same method as before to figure out the buttons on the 3x3 grid.
Solution: . . .
. . 3
1 2 .
Another wall will lift up to reveal more of the hallway.
Fourth puzzle:
There is a square of 8 black plates on the wall, with a 3x3 grid opposite it. (This 3x3 grid has D'ni numbers around it.)
Hint: Compare this 3x3 grid with the poster on the wall near the start.
Hint: The numbers go in the reverse order, so you'll have to flip it a few times.
Hint: The three solid and one empty squares from that poster are the buttons you want to click.
Solution: X . X
X . .
. X .
This will expose more clues!
Fifth puzzle:
The symbols we just exposed are: A4 E5 N5 and another green cube.
Use the same method once again to figure out what buttons to click on the 3x3 grid.
Solution: . . 3
. . 2
. 1 .
Yet another wall with lift to extend the hall!
Sixth puzzle:
The letters N E and A are shown with rectilinear designs around them.
Hint: You need to find which numbers (3, 4, or 5) go which each one.
Hint: The area of the blocks below each one is the solution.
Solution: N3 E4 A3
Enter this into the 3x3 grid using the same method as before.
Solution: 1 . .
. 2 .
3 . .
This wall too lifts for you!
Seventh puzzle:
Note the still cube, and the button.
Click the button to reveal another image of a green cube nearby.
Hint: The images of the cubes are clickable!
Click the cubes to open the safe near the beginning, which reveals an image of all three cube parts together.
Click this image, and return to the far end of the hallway!
Congratulations!!
